Being married for a half-century is certainly something to celebrate!

For a look that really commemorates the original wedding, dig through those photographs and pull out a shot that includes the wedding cake. Get as many details from the bride about the cake as you can, and bring all your information to your local bakery. Ice Cream!
If a couple is celebrating their 50th anniversary, chances are it will be a family affair. Serve something that everybody loves – ice cream cake! There are lots of flavors available, and the ice cream shop will be able to add any message you wish to the cake. Depending on the size of your event, you might need more than one. If so, consider having a large “5” on one cake and a large “0” on the other!
