Finding your perfect wedding dress shouldn't be a chore, it should be fun!

Back when I set out to find my perfect wedding dress, I was a bit overwhelmed..

There were sooo many dresses out there. But I had no idea where to start.

Not only that, but there are certain things about each style of dress that will either flatter, or frump your body type, and I had NO IDEA which style did what!

I've found out through many friends that if you don't know which styles go with your body type, you could be in for some MAJOR headaches.

It's time to go shopping!

Ok, so you know what style you want. Now it's on to the next step..

You have a ton of options when it comes to where you can buy your dress.

Online - A great place to start. Looking online will give you a good idea of the different dresses that are out there, and what price range your favorite types of dresses tend to fall under.

You can also search online by the specific designers that you prefer.

One great thing about shopping online is that you can usually find the exact dress you're looking for a lot cheaper than at a conventional dress shop.

The only real downfall is that you can't try the dress on first. If you need to, try similar ones on at a local dress shop, to get a feel for what it will look like. Then if you need to, have the online dress altered when it arrives.

Local Shops - These are great for trying on dresses. - And having fun day with the girls!

If you find one you like, have a look online to see if you can find the same dress at a discounted price.

Choose Your Color

These days, not everyone is choosing to wear a traditional white wedding dress.

It's actually becoming much more common to wear other colors, such as reds and blues.

(In fact, some cultures normally wear red or black, because white is what they wear to funerals!)

So don't be afraid to add a bit of color.
