The only real downfall is that you can't try the dress on first. If you need to, try similar ones on at a local dress shop, to get a feel for what it will look like. Then if necessary, plan to have the online dress altered when it arrives.

These days, not everyone is choosing to wear a traditional white gown. The desire for "something different" is taking over and it's starting to become much more common for brides to wear other colors, such as reds and blues.

In fact, in some cultures brides are actually known to wear red or black gowns instead of white; white is the color that they wear to funerals!

Even if you don't feel up to going all out and draping yourself in color from head to toe, you can still add a splash of color without "overdoing it". Try adding a lightly colored shawl, pair of shoes, a necklace or hair jewelry.
