What better way to recycle wine corks? If you are a wine enthusiast, start saving your undamaged corks and you could even have your friends pitch in too. www.wineenthusiast.com has recycled corks available as well at a very reasonable cost 50corks for $14.95 plus shipping.

You'll need a razor blade/box cutter. You'll want to cut across the long side of the cork, creating a flat base to lay on(don't cut too much off). Then you'll want to slice across the opposite side of the flat cut for where you'll want to sit the placecard in, a that will hold it upright.
