There are some amazing presentations that can be done by stacking wine glasses filled with alcohol, and then setting the whole pyramid aflame! Talk to your caterer or bar-staff to see what can be done. The perfect dessert? Crème Brule, of course!

Firefighter Cake Topper

If you are serving a traditional cake, you can add a firefighting element to the topper. Consider ordering a specialty cake topper that features a firefighter carrying a bride – he’s your knight in shining armor! These can be created to you and your fiancé’s likeness and are absolutely wonderful! Maybe you are both firefighters. Another option is to order a special crystal or porcelain cake topper that features a couple wearing fire hats.

Cut the Cake

You can carry the theme right into your wedding cake cutting ceremony, as well. If you have a traditional cake cutting set, you might tie a red ribbon around each piece. Why not have hubby-to-be put on a big show by pretending to cut the cake with his fireman’s axe?
