Gazebo Wedding Decorations

-- Gazebo Wedding Decorations --

Planning a romantic outdoor wedding is always fabulous – and when there’s a gazebo involved, there is even more fun to be had! If you are planning to say your vows underneath a gazebo, you already have a great backdrop. Now it’s time to make it your own with some personalized décor!

Top Tip!

Before you buy anything online, make sure to check out the Gazebo decorations being offered on eBay. You can often find new decorations at a fraction of what they cost in stores:

Under the Stars

Gazebo Wedding DecorationsMarrying in a gazebo is perfect for a sunset or evening ceremony. You can decorate your gazebo with tiny fairy lights (pick them up at a Boxing Day sale for great value!). Or, hang lanterns inside the gazebo for a dreamy effect. Add romance by swathing the gazebo with whimsical tulle, and having your lights in and around it.

For ultra romance, add candles to your scene. Candles are enticingly stunning no matter how many you have – go for simplicity with just a few, or add drama by having hundreds! Make sure to have water on hand in case of an unlikely emergency. You may need to house your candles in lanterns or vases so they are not disturbed by breeze.

Totally Tulle

Purchasing lengths of tulle is a romantic, and generally inexpensive way to add character to any old gazebo. You can loop it around the base of the gazebo, swirl it around banisters, and hang it from rafters! Make curtains from your tulle and let it flutter in the wind, or tie it back with glamorous curtain ties. It will add elegance and whimsy to your outdoor wedding. Consider using the same tulle to create an aisle or walkway. You can customize your tulle by adding floral arrangements, seashells, or other items add your own personal touch.

Less Is More

In most cases, a gazebo is placed outdoors in a particularly beautiful surrounding. It may be close to the water, at the end of a pier, or overlooking a lovely view. Gazebos are often surrounded by beautiful gardens and flowers. In many cases, you will only need a few elegant touches to make your gazebo have a bit of romantic character!

Smart Thinking!

Gazebo Wedding DecorationsAre you planning a garden wedding in your backyard, or that of your parents? Why not purchase a gazebo, which will always remind you of your special day. Add a few special touches, like a plaque to commemorate your day, or have hearts carved into the design of your gazebo. Look for décor items you can use after the wedding, such as potted flowers, hanging ferns, or torches. This will cut down on the cost of your wedding as you will be able to continue using the décor items you purchased.

Here, there, everywhere!

Carry the theme of your gazebo décor throughout the west of your outdoor setup. Create an aisle, and decorate the chairs with coordinating colors. You may also decorate your parking area, guest walkways, gardens, and dining area with a similar theme. Have candles in the gazebo? Line your aisle with them, or have clusters of hurricane lights at the end of each row of chairs. On the beach? Decorate with conch shells, sand dollars, and beautiful beachy colors like azure and cream! Carry your theme from the gazebo, to the aisle, and everywhere in between! If you will be close by the gazebo during your reception, consider returning there for a romantic first dance.

A gazebo wedding is delightfully romantic, picturesque, and timeless. Add to the natural beauty of the outdoors by creating a gazebo that’s all about you!
