Halloween Wedding Decorations
If you’re planning a Halloween-themed wedding, you’ve got your decoration work cut out for you!

From the ornately gothic to the simple-yet-fun Halloween twist, a Halloween wedding is a fun time to let your inner party planner run wild with details!

Top Tip!

Before you buy anything online, make sure to check out the Halloween wedding decorations being offered on eBay. You can often find new decorations at a fraction of what they cost in stores:

Orange & Black

These are the classic Halloween colors, and if you’re planning a Halloween wedding, you might as well embrace them for the ultimate Oct. 31 look! Forget the cheesy streamers and simple balloons though. These might be one aspects of your décor, but you’ll want to spice it up with luxurious table linens, gorgeous centerpieces, and stunning flower arrangements. For a subtle Halloween flavor, have your bridesmaids in a rich burnt orange, and have a bit of black detailing on your dress. Purple, green, and cold are also great accent colors.

Halloween Wedding Decorations

Décor, décor, décor

The best part of a Halloween wedding? If you plan in advance, you can get loads of decorations at major discounts! Visit craft supply stores in early November for great deals on Halloween themed decorative items which can add whimsy and delight to your wedding day. Order Halloween themed decorations online or visit a party planning store to find the items you need. You can still have an elegant wedding with just a few touches of the spooky holiday – or make it a scary night to remember by creating a totally themed event!

A Festive Night

If you want to go all out with a Halloween wedding, consider throwing a costume party. You and the groom, as well as all your guests, can really get into the spirit! Hire a fortune teller to entertain the guests, and consider hosting your wedding at a local theme park, haunted house, or a mansion that could be made to look scary! If your wedding is close to Halloween but not right on the 31st, you may be able to take advantage of a venue that is already decorated for Halloween – don’t be afraid to ask!

Spooky Accents

Orange and black tulle can create a gorgeous Halloween backdrop. Decorate with pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and lots of ornate candles. Choose tall, tapered candles for a gothic touch. Send out gorgeous harvest orange invitations with black and cream detailing; and decorate with festive orange Chinese lanterns. Add as many scary touches as you like with hanging bats, fake spider webs, and Halloween-style table linens, ribbons, favors and centerpieces.

Creepy Cake

Your Halloween wedding cake is a place where you can really let your theme shine through! Picture a three tiered cake, with orange frosting and black spiderweb style detailing. Or, opt for a crazy lopsided tiered cake in cream, violet, orange, and dark chocolate. Cupcakes are a great addition to any wedding and you can have loads of fun choosing different colors and styles.

Masquerade

Halloween is the perfect time of year to host a formal masquerade ball. Purchase masks for the bride and groom, and have less expensive ones available to guests who did not have time to find their own. Feature masks on your invitations, and decorate using glitzy purples, greens, silver and white!Halloween offers up the perfect time of year to create a memorable event. Decide if you want to go subtle or wild, and then take it from there! No one will ever forget the time they went to a Halloween wedding!
