Filled Keepsakes This is one of the easiest, yet most tried and true wedding favors you can make. All you need are 4 items to create this favor. * A container to fill. This should be no bigger than a can of soda pop. There are tons of items you can use if you get creative. Some common ones are empty glass jars, mini bottles and small boxes. * Filler - You need something to fill your container with, that your guests will be able to use. Things like candy, hot chocolate mix, egg nog mix, apple cider mix, mints, nuts (be sure to check for allergies), coffee, bath salts, M&M's, skittles, bubble gum, etc. * Decorative ribbon - Once you've got your containers filled, add some decorative ribbon or lace to make it look pretty. * Tags - Attach paper tags to say thank you or to give your guests a special message.
-- Homemade Wedding Favors -- What a Bomb! Go to your local beauty and bath store and buy some inexpensive bath bombs. Be sure to choose ones that will match your color scheme. Get some pretty ribbon, and tie it around the bath bomb. Then attach a tag to the ribbon, with a personalized message on it for your guests.
Pez Dispensers Pick out your favorite pez dispensers and tie a ribbon around them to match your theme. (These are perfect for a Disney theme!)
Coffee To Go What you will need: * A coffee cup and saucer. * A cello cone bag (these are clear, cone shaped snack bags) * Coffee beans * Ribbon Tape the bottom of your cello cone bag shut, and fill it up with your coffee beans. Place the bag into your coffee cup and tie a ribbon around the top for decoration.
Cookie Cutter Favors Buy a bunch of cookie cutters that go well with your wedding theme. Tie a bow around it with ribbon and attach a tagwith your guest's name on it.
Potpourri Sacket Cut a piece of nylon fabric into approx. 5 inches square. Lay a clump of your favorite scented potpourri onto the center area, and pull the corners up to make a little baggy. Wrap a ribbon around the top to seal it shut. These are perfect for using as air fresheners.
Scent - Sational! Mix you favorite perfumes together to create your own "signature wedding scent", and pour each guest their own little vial.
Lottery Tickets Have lottery tickets tucked away into little envelops at each place setting.
