Recipe of love

by Ciara Wills
(Westminster MD)

Pick out a recipe of a simple cookie, preferably without nuts due to possible allergies. On the front of the tag label it "Recipe of love from the Mr. & Mrs" and on the back list the ingredients just to ensure all your guests are able to enjoy the cookie after its baked.

Fill your ingredients into a mini glass jar, the amount filled should consist of enough to make 2 or 3 cookies. Make sure the mix would be as simple as just adding water. If its a smaller wedding and if your close to your guests to inquire that information ahead of time then instead of listing the actual ingredients on the back of the label you could make it funky, such as

A LIL HUG, A LIL KISS, A LOT OF TRUST etc. make sure somewhere on there you state the instructions (ex: just add 1/3cup of water & bake for 15mins)

Betty Crocker makes a premixed bag that only cost $2.50-$3.00 (that makes 12 cookies), you could easily just divide that mix among the mini glass jars. There are so many options to choose from. Enjoy :)
