Choosing your wedding colors isn't always as easy as it sounds.. With so many different variables to consider, your favorite color may not end up being what you choose in the end. Think outside the box - You may be the type of person who loves those pretty pinks and pastels, but if you're looking for something a little different, try to add some pizzazz with big and bold colors. If you have 2 or 3 colors, making 1 of them bold likely won't over do it, but it could really make things pop!
Keep it simple - Having 2 or 3 colors is usually perfect for a wedding. Any more than that could end up making it look too loud.
Location - If location is important to you, be sure to choose colors that will compliment the location that you have chosen. Main color - Choose one color to be the main one, and use the others more like accents. The secret of darks - If you love dark colors, and are looking forward to deep hues on your wedding day, try to balance it out with at least one lighter color. Or maybe have a lot of large mirrors on the walls to lighten it up. After all, you don't want people to think they are walking into a funeral! Find out what is available - When you're looking for an "off season" color in the wrong season, it could end up costing a lot of extra money. Try to stick to the colors of the season (like with flowers for example), and you'll save yourself a lot of extra cash. -- Wedding Color Ideas --
